I think that the connection of the hotel phone system voicemail to the guest’s email account has some very positive benefits. If set up properly messages before arrival, during stay and perhaps a short period after checkout can be a benefit to the guest.
A challenge will be to minimize administrative announcements that are hotel related that you might not want flooding the email of the guests. Some further thought might be needed her is messages need to be classified prior to delivery. Certainly personal messages from outside callers are the target. This service can be bart of the PBX system and still allow the existing infrastructure within the hotel to remain (if analog or VoIP in nature).

Are you tired of calling your desk phone to see if you have new voicemail messages? In today’s fast-paced world, employees are often outside of the office with little time to make frequent calls to check their voicemail. With voicemail to email you are able to listen to your voicemail on your mobile phone, laptop, or other personal device – from anywhere. This allows staff to respond quickly to customers when he or she is on the road or out of the office.
